RE: coon huntin
i was just in Ohio last night. our cast of 2 dogs put up 4 different coon..plus a hole and another tree that was a grape vine mess...sure there was a coon in that area we just couldnt find it...
the full moon is killing the night hunting...its been rough here in PA and saturday in ohio was rough...lots of slick trees, holes and dens..the cold and full moon cause that...coons dont move much from the den in this type of conditions...
hang in there, things will get better...though winter always makes things a little more difficult...warmer weather coons will move alot better...still get alot of good runs in the winter, but any season other than winter is usually best IMO...
coons still gotta eat though...gets frustrating going to den tree after den tree though...
