Default Squirrel Nests?

could i sit under a nest and wait early enough and shoot squirrels that way our would i have to get up really early, because i could find probably 20 different nests.

Good Idea,
Getting in the woods early is a good way to get any animal.

Just Don't shoot in the nest.

most of the nests aren't occupied with any regularity, they build them all summer in they're current feeding area for cover and protection at night from nocturnal predators, as the food source changes they abandon those nests and build others in the new feeding areas. your best bet is to hunt the current food sources.
