bhw & the bow shot coyote

Gang,

After 1/2 hour of uneventful deer hunting, a pack of coyotes came by. I drilled this one at 15 yards. The others broke away in haste. It was my first coyote with the bow!!

Congrats! I've shot a few coyotes withmy bow and have always been surprised at the lack of blood trail that they leave. That fur really soaks up a lot of blood making them tough to recover.

How far did that one go after the hit and where was the hit?

That's the best part... it went 0 feet!!! It spun once and fell over dead! Now if I could get the deer to do that!!!!!!!!!!1

way to go on the bow 'yote! I whacked a few of them with my bow last fall. I shot one last fall @ 67 yards that spun twice an fell over dead while antelope hunting. The other ones made it no more than 20 yards.

Congrats, sure is a nice looking Coyote! I got one last year with my bow, shot it at 27 yards and had good blood right up to where he died, about 60 yards from the POI.

How to go a nice yote with a bow! I have never done that before, Congrats!
