Default 07 coon season just about here!!!

I don't know about you guys, but the coon season in wisconsin is just over a week away and i'm jacked!!!!! the boys and I are going out next weekend at midnight on friday and we're gonna hunt til sun-up!!! i can't wait!!! anybody else going out?

It isnt too far away in Ohio and Illinois either, but it has been such a warm Fall, that the fur may not be prime at the beginning of the season unless it gets cold quick.

It finally cooled down this last week..we've had highs in the 50's and lows in the 40's..predicting light rain for opening night..coon should be moving.. they might not be completely prime, but we're going out anyway!!!

i have the dogs all tuned up and ready to go. have been running them hard and competing all summer. i cant wait!!

Our season opens up Nov.3rd, I sure hope some leaves fall off by then or my dogs will be mad at me.

Missouri season starts in November. I have a new pup this year that i am anxious to get out there.

what breed of dogs are you guys runnin'? we've got a variety we run: english red ticks, walkers, red bones

mostly walkers. i have two 14 week old walker pups i cant wait to start. then i i have two other older hounds both walkers. one is a grandnite ch and the other is a 10 year old silverch. anyone from illinois that want to go for a hunt let me know!!

I have a 6yr. redbone, 9 yr. walker and startingmy son'sbluetick pup this year. It seems I always have the variety pack when it comes to hounds.

ours comes in on the 10th of nov. in ohio. i was wathcin a tree which i knew coons used before for a den, and i waited and sure enogh out poped a big ol fat coon. so 3 weeks from tomorrow im gonna wait on him with my trusty .22
