Small Game, Predator and TrappingFrom shooting squirrels in your backyard to calling coyotes in Arizona. This forum now contains trapping information..
I'm not very experienced with hunting, I've only been doing it for 3 years now. This year I have seen allot of coyotes but nothing in range yet.
MY question is about Foxes in North Carolina. What kind of foxes should I see? I've been watching one come out in the field in front of the house for the past 3 weeks and tonight when pulling in the driveway he was in my frony yard and jumped in front of my truck. He lookied like a skunk paired with a fox. I think he was a silver fox. Is this possible in this area?

greys and reds east of the mississippi, however they do vary some in color, if you have yotes its probably a grey, reds don't fair well around yotes, they hunt the same places, eat the same food except coyotes also eat fox.

reds and greys should be the norm but i know several fox pens brought in silver fox to stock with.it is within reason some of them have escaped......tony
