Nice looking gun, I have wanted a .410 in a pump for a long time. I guess I just haven't wanted it bad enough to go and buy one.

I got my first 4-10 back in 1977. It was a single shot and I did a lot of hunting with it, Until 78' when I got my first 20 gauge. I still have the 20 gauge, along with several 12's,and Ialso have a 4-10 in the Mossburg 500 pump that I used last Sat. and Sun. to shoot my limit of dove with. Fun little guns for sure and they add a new challenge to dove hunting that just makes dove hunting that much more fun.
I wish the shells were cheaper for the 4-10, that's about the only down fall for it.

yeah. thanks. .410 shells are not only kinda not cheap(lol) but are hard to find. But overall its a great gun just shoots a little high with remington express long range shells. thats why it shoots high at like 10 yds. duh.

i have used a single shot .410 for a couple years as a squirrel gun but find that shooting towards the tops of trees is next useless. it just doesnt have the shot power/grouping to kill something that high. shots on low branches or jumping squirrels are great though and the .410 is a great shotgun to shoot. normally i'll take the .410 and a .22 at the same time for squirrel.

around here i have no problem finding cheap shells.
