i need help from experienced trappers

ok im starting trpping this winter and i have u trap the animal skin them then i think u put them in a strofoam cooler i heard but how do u find buyers please explain this 2 me i need help and is all the other things rite plz?

If you do a google search you should be able to locate fur buyers in your area. There are also state trapping associations that you can join or contact for information. Also, you might consider subscribing to the magazine Fur, Fish, and Game.

Your state most likely has a trappers assn. I suggest you attend a trappers ed course. Even old timers can learn something. Also, its a minni rondevous that usually goes for a couple days.A realy good time to talk to trappers from the area.Your instructors will be some of the most dedicated trappers in the area. They can usually appoint a mentor who is just a phone call away to answer any questions you have. You want to do this right because a hide that is mis-handled can be nearly worthless. Well cared for hides will show the pride you havein your workmanship, and the respect you have for the industry, and the animal.
