this much snow deffinetly made things tough.the fox and coyote are holding tight to the thickets and are not moving very far, makes calling real tough.i didn't think the snow was deep enough to make them hole up this way but i guess it is.the last time i saw it like this was the storm of 93,that one dumped almost 4 feet of snow on the ground and it was understandable why they were holed up. i would have been happy to find a day old track let alone a fresh one.it started to rattle my confidence a little,so on that note i was glad to see every body had a hard time.it made me feel a little better knowing i wasn't doing somthing wrong.hopfully the next contest will be better conditions. but the way the weather pattern has set in it dosn't look like this knee deep snow will fade much.i would like to see it gone completely with supper cold conditions,i think it makes night hunting a liitle easyer when its real dark out.but then again the snow makes day hunting easyer, either way i guess it dosn't matter.i met a good group of guys and had a good time, thats all that realy matters to me.i,m all fired up for the predator bowl.

seeker,

It was nice to meet everyone! I updated the contest site
and will distribute flyers starting this week. I put some
nice pix on that site as well. Looking forward to the "bowl"
