Default QUARTER INCH GROUPS W/ .22 at 150 yards?

i jsut bought a Marlin 881 .22 w/ a bull barrel w/ microgrooves. a deer scope. and a stock w/ a cheekrest for $130 dollars. i took it to the range 2day and got 1/8" groups at 50 yards and 1/4" groups at 100 yards. also i shot it at 200 yards and got 1/2" groups. PRETTY FRIKIN CRAZY. i just bought it at a local gunshop and i cant believe how frikin accurate it is. it looks about 10 years old and is in NRA fair condition. but hte accuracy is crazy. if ur .22LR hutnign gun shoots better than mine plz tell me because i dont want to look stupid if i tell my story to my friends and they say it sux. thx

Thats the best ive ever heard of any .22 shooting. I can shoot 1/4 in. groups at 50 but never shot farther than that. If I where you I would start shooting competition with that gun.

What kind of cartridges are you shooting? Brand, grain, hollow-point etc....?

Because my .22 is my small game gun I hunt with I think..40 grain hollow-points??? Yeah, I'm almost sure. Anyways I dont shoot longer than 50 yards and I havn't missed a squirrel yet. Some say hollow-points wander but not in my experience.

If your gun shoots that gun having just bought it then see if you can tweak it a little and close those groups down a little bit. If you shoot 10 times I want to only see one hole! lol

it sounds pretty good. i will try to borrow someons digital camera because i got an AOL kit w/ a crappya** one and everything is blurry. i will try 2 get the pics up ASAP. idk how much drop i had because it was a scope that had elevation set to 300 which shoots deadon at50yds and at 150 yds it was 650 at dead on. i guess it might drop like sumwhere around 16-22 inches if sighted at 50. I was using federal's 550 value pack of GAME SHOK COPPER PLATED HP at 38gr and shoots 1260fps.

I'm still gonna call Bull$hit on this one. Haha federal bulk. Tell ya what, send me a video of you shooting the groups and if you can shoot even an inch at 200 with that setup i'll cut out my left one and give it to ya. Plain ole' BS. Get a life kid and go shoot your gun instead of coming here and claiming stuff you cant and wont prove.
