Default What's Your Favorite

I was wondering what your favorite caliber is for pred. hunting. Ive seen some 223's and smaller but wanted to know what else was being used.

Fox and cats it's a 22 hornet, and for coyotes it's a 243. But if I could only use one gun for all predators, it would be a 223.

Beman 400 carbon arrow with a Muzzy three blade broadhead. That is only when I really want a challenge, but seriously it would be the .22-250

Any center fire from .17 caliber up to .25 caliber willdo a good job.

Calm days no windshots out to 250 yards .17 hornet.22 hornet or .17 rem and over 250 yards.17 rem,.204 ruger, .223 or .22-250
Days with a lightbreeze.204 ruger, .223, .22-250or .243

243

I've shot alot of dogs with 223s, and wouldn't be scared to make that my all-time gun, but on the real windy days the 243 really shines.
