Default Recent Groundhog Hunting Trip

Well, last Sunday and Monday I took my brother and son on a groundhog trip. We went with a guy who is a guide in east central Ohio. He has access to 21K acres for ghogs. My son has never shot one before. He is 10. The first shot he got was a steep downhill angle. He was bummed cause he missed. We finally found a field with some shorter shots and he got his first at 150. We later found another close by. He got it at 425 with the first shot. He later nailed 2 at 300 and one at 275.

I was so proud of him because he was really patient during the lulls in the action. I had a lot of fun just watching them shoot. I must be getting older. It was a lot of fun seeing them use the reloads I worked up and the smiles on their faces.
