Upper Wisconsin snowshoe hare hunt

I'm heading to Upper Wisconsin Wed. 3/28 for a 5 day snowshoe hare hunting trip, and was wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect? I know wolves are in the area, but I heard they don't bother the dogs where I'm going. The varying hare are still white now, but not for much longer. I'm guessing they'll be running extra big now that breeding season is upon them, but anything else is greatly appreciated.

You should be good. Go to Powell Marsh in Manitwish Waters off of HWY 51. Went there in Nov. there is rabbits everywhere. The DNR are getting rid of some wolves in the area.

Is Powel Marsh public land? All I need is the $55 5 day non-resident small game license right? Any tips for hunting these suckers?

Yelp, just need a small game license to run hare. The best part of it is that they are open all year long![:-]
