I didn't really like the taste of the one that I killed before, so I don't rabbit hunt now. But if i see one around my parents house, i shoot it. They tear up my parents garden. I want to get one and tan it's hide to make a little decoy for yotes.

rabbit hunting is good -- in fact Hunting of any kind is good and even better if you get you animal(s). I like rabbits for food -- find it better with the rabbits if you bleed the kill. Great to spend the day in nature and at times a camera is nice to carry.

I LOVE rabbit hunting!!!! That and waterfowling are my favorites. We don't have hare down here in VA, only cottontails, but I'd love to get the opportunity to hare hunt one day. Just don't have anywhere to go...

I love bunny huntin! But there not in season here in PA.

Ive always wanted to shoot a snowshoe hair, but because they are so rare, (I have never seen one) the season only lasts for a few days. Theresa lotof cottontails though. This time of the year theres only a few runnin around. Most of them get picked off by foxes, hawks, and owls.

i've hunted them since i was 5. Snow shoes are going extinct in michigan i think. I've run alot of cottontails this year. Probably 3 to 1 ratio. I like cottontails better because they run circles, the snow shoes run straight lines into the next county. On wed. the dog caught a sick cottontail, on friday i shot a real nice cottontail. so it's getting better.

Yelp, I rabbit hunt. I acutally run dogs more than actually killing em, kind of gives me more opportunity to run if I leave em alive. But I do manage to carry a gun a half dozen times a year and take what I can get. I don't enjoy rabbit like I do grouse and pheasant but I like em about once a year. However, I love watching the chase!

Bunnies are awesome to hunt!!!! I use shotgun and blow them away. I don't really like the way they tastes but I'll eat them.
