Default Called in my first coyote yesterday

Didn't get a clear shot at him because he was behind some trees, and then got hung up behind some brush and took off after a deer a couple of minutes later when one came by.

I'm officially hooked, now. My condolences to those of you who've had to deal with this awful disease (coyote fever) for years. But when I first saw him and the old heart started pounding, then he stopped, I gave one more call and he started coming again....it was all over.

What a blast. Can't wait to get out again.

i tried one this year running with a 30-30 single shot but missed him. still trying to get one, but whenever a coyote comes in they always seem to be moving as if they need to be somewhere?

Just bought a howler and a cottontail distress call, as well as Calling all Coyotes 2 so that I can listen and learn, yesterday. My wife is already ticked. My son and me watched the DVD last night, and the calls get on her nerves. I will probably be able to get out a week from tomorrow and try for the first time. I can't wait.
