Default Fox/Coyote trapping question

Hey guys. Quick question. I have been trapping for a few years but I am fairly new to the fox and coyote trapping scene, I have been hunting them for years but am ready to try and catch a few. Just wondering what your favorite setup is, I really like the dirt hole set - any thoughts or tips? Also, what have you had good luck with as far as different lures? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Tom

I've had alot of luck snaring on blind sets. I snare several coyotes on fence crossings going in & out of a goat farm I trap on. Obviously pay attention to sign and stay away from areas that deer are crawling under.

The dirt hole works pretty good for me for fox but not coyote. I think it depends on how much pressure your area gets. In western SD coyotes are very wary of dirt holes. I prefer a flat set for coyotes, works for fox as well. I also like a post set with only urine as an attractor and blind sets are always good.

Like was mentioned, snares are absoulutely deadly on coyotes but not as gratifying as trapping one.
