Default coyote help!

hey guys, today i found a frozen rabbit while walking through the bush. I was wondering if me hanging it on a tree, was poaching. I ask this because I know there are coyotes in the area, and I want to get one. let me know what you think.. am I ok, or am I in the wrong?

if you r goin to put a trap under the rabbit... its prob illegal... but i dont think hangin the rabbit in a tree would work.... unless you stayed there 24/7

I'd say you'd be fine. If you didn't have a small game license and had the rabbit in your possession, then you'd be in the wrong, probably!

That's not poaching you are just fine, as long as you did not kill the rabbit out of season.
