Default Hows your fox/coyote season going so far

Just curios on how everything is going. Me and a a friend trapped 3 fox so far and our group that runs with dogs got i think 7 coyote 5 fox but this weekend was a little crappy to run so we sat in the truck waiting for dogs to bark but they must have not like the weather either since they came right back to the truck after a hour. And those who run dogs, what breed do you prefer we like walkers but also julys arent bad

I've never called a coyote in on my own. Decided this was the winter I am going to change that. Not spending any time trapping or baiting. Been out three times, total of 5 call set-ups. No luck yet, but I've seen plenty of elk, moose and bighorn sheep, antelope and deer on the winter range. Got some good video!

shot a coyote deer hunting. we havent called in and shot a coyote or fox yet though. our first year at it, but we figured something out. The only time you can spot a coyote is when you are unprepared or hunting for something else. they never show up when i am ready and hunting for them. lol
