Default SPROULMAN GETS CAUGHT IN YOTE TRAP

hello all, i gave up trapping 2 years ago after 40 years having fun..guess what happen to me today..

i was out scouting for deer here in pa..i had my camcorder along for pictures ..i was walking and saw a buck track in snow,so i thought i would get a picture..

i walked into brush about 10 ft when all of sudden i fell,my camera went flying..1500 dollar camera ,oh my..

so, i got up and thought,DANG LAURAL must have tripped me..when i looked at my boot ,i had cable around my foot..

i said, what the heck..it would not come off,on real tight..

it was a TRAP..i guess its thoose new ones they came out with..i tried pulling and could not remove it until i saw a little spring ,which i pushed, off it came..

of all dang things,it must have been put out before it snowed..

my camera was fine.. everytime i go out, i end up with story ,it seems..

As long as the cameras ok, nothing else matters.[8D]

Reminds me of the joke where a guy tells his bud about the 2 most painful things that ever happened to him in his entire life. He stated theSECOND most painful thingwas when he went into the bushes to take a crap anda bear trap clamped down on his nuts. His bud says "well whatthe heck could be more painful than that". The guy responds "when the chain ran out".

I think for yotes it should be 8" x10" loop .You might have set it big enough for a bear or deer.I bought a dozen snares and started looking at how to use them. These things are new to me,I grow up on legholds.
