Any body been trapped any beavers lately, cause Ive been sticking it to em!!

The beaver population around here has exploded, so Ive beenwackin em pretty good this week. Six down so far and no sign of slowing down, mostly catching them on slides at a small creek with #4 sleepy creeks hooked to a drowning cable where they have been doing alot of cutting. Also at lodge sets and bottom edge sets. Im here in vermillion county Indiana, and was wondering if there where any other trappers out there and how you have been doing this season

-to many possums to even try to remember

Looks like you are having a good year. I've trapped 30 coons and a coyote and shot another 7 coons so far. I have beavers and muskrat in my backyard in the Great Miami river. But the water has been too high for trapping for the last month or so. Now that it is down somewhat, there is snow everywhere and it is colder than hell. But, I may get fired up and give it a shot this coming weekend if I can find some #3's and rig up some drown sets.
