The farthest shot with a bow???????

How do you measure 650 yards? I have shot a rabbit at near 35 yards with my bow, past that is out of my range for any animal.

you can tell that they are 650 yards with a range finder

37 yard shot on this years 8 pointer, right through the heart, ran about 35 yards.

I like to keep it around 35 yards also, I fail to understand why anyone would even want to try out as far as you claim. I read an article one day that maximum hitting power is 30 - 35 yards and that keeps me happy at that range.

try shooting out at fifty sixty yards with cheap arrows itsfun and I am sure of my accuracy at that range I would shoot a big game animal and know I got it in the lungs if I was steady.

I shot a feral cat at about 70 yards.
I try to keep my bow shots on gamearound 20 yards if possible.

70 yards and clean kill - I didn't think i was hoping to make it run to a different spot rather then hit. Was kind of dumb on my part but hey, i got it at least

Gunwise- I got a Sow at 300 yards even with a 300 Savage Magnum

Head shot on a squirrel at 80 yards and open sights on my .22 Longest bow shot is 20 yds. Everything else has come in too close !
