that's a broad question, and the answers, depending on your circumstances, willrange from sniping them with a .22 to using dynamite on their dams. Where are you located?

Do you know how to rig a number 3 trap on a drowning slide set? If so, chop a few small holes on the deep water side of the damn and set the traps there. You can catch them as they move in to repair the damage. When that stops working, set the traps at the bottoms of their slides. When that stops working, just do some blind sets with beaver scent. of course, if you have a bunch of number 3's you can do a combination of all those sets at the same time. Keep in mind though, that where there are beaver, there are generally muskrats, and rats are selling for up to 8 dollars this year. Also, beaver is going for 20-30 dollars. So, you might make a little money while dealing with the problem.

A number 3 is a specific size of leghold trap that is used for beaver. Since you are obviously starting from scratch, you might want to google some trapping discussion sites that provide detailed info on beaver trapping. It would take too long to explain here, and if you don't do it right, you end up with just feet in your trap and beaver that are even harder to trap. Or, you can IM me and arrange a call and I can explain it to you.
