Den Tree
I was out hunting tree rats yesterday. Since the neighboring farm decided to clear cut their property, and in the process drive out every deer in the county. Any way, i got there a little early so i wasn't having a whole lot of luck.I walked down in to the creek bottm and stopped beside a dead Hickory tree. I had been standing there a couple minutes when i heard claws on bark. I look up and there is a good size Fox squirell looking back. I followed him all the way to the top where he stopped, and i popped him before he could make the jump. After the shot three more came tearing out of the same hole. I nailed two more and fallowed the other about a hundred yards before it got away. I never seen so many at once before. But it was the start of what became a real good day. I ended up with eleven down and five that beat me.
