.270 Loads

Hello All!

My girlfriend i mean "Santa" was good to me this year, bringing a Remington 700 in a .270 caliber.

I would like to use this as a varmit gun, for long ranges, ect. I already have 2 deer rifles (.35 and .35-06)

I don't have the tools/resources to reload.

What is the best factory ammo I can use for varmits with my .270? I see the lightest is a Remington Pointed Soft Point 100gr.

Foxes, Coyotes, and Groundhogs. Anybody use this caiber?

id just use 130gr core lokts.

I agree of course if they shoot well, my buddy has that same exact gun and i think he uses mostly core lokts and he has some really small groups.
