Default Bunny Hunting Part II

Well, I got out again this morning. Without any snow []and very warm temps for Michigan, I didn't feel like bringing the dog. I don't usually like carrying a 12 ga. for rabbits but there was good possibility for pheasant and partridge. Though the shotty was a heavy load, all 3 were perfect head shots.
I did jump 2 roosters, but they were a looong ways out. [:@]

Enjoy!

send some of that luck down to mississippi! i KNOW where some are and they are ALWAYS there but the honeysuckle is so thick that they can disappear effortlessly just as fast as I spot them.

oh, and that headless shot might get the peta fans all excited in their little boy underwear. just something to think about.

Got out with my dad this morning for a few hours. We had my nephew along to kick the bruch piles and get 'em moving. Flushed 9 total, with only one in the bag. Not much shooting as the grass is too tall with no snow on top of if.
Was nice to just be out though.
