Default Pellet Rifle???

Im lookin at a pellet rifle and it says it has side lever cocking...what is that?

Probably there is a lever parallel to the stock forearm that you pull to cock the spring. In some pellet rifles, you bend the barrel down to cock the spring. The spring is strong on hunting airguns, somewhere in the 30's of pounds.

Yea but whats the point of that, isnt it harder to cock and where do ya load the pellets?

it is like an autoloader kinda but not semi-auto. a little knob pulls back on the side and then push forward to get ready to fire. a Crosman 760 has this feature. sidecocking. it's really easy to use.

im also looking at one called the rws diana model 53 and it has a side lever. anyone use this model ?
