Savage 93FVSS VS Marlin 925MC

I am looking to buy a .22 win mag for hunting squirles and hogs I have narrowed it down to the Marlin 925MCand the Savage 93FVSS I would like any input you can give me to help make up my mind thanks.

I would get the savage .17hmr.....my roommate had one and I use to smoke the groundhogs with it to 225 yards.....sweet little gun!
