HOWA 1500 Varminter...good gun or not?

I'm looking at getting a .22-250, but don't need to invest a bundle in it. I've heard good things about the Howa/Legacy M-1500. Anyone have one? How does it shoot? Also, should I go with the "Supreme" model? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have an M-1500 in .223 that I use for prairie dogs, cats, and yotes. It shoots really well for a cheaper rifle. I also have a friend who has the supreme (not sure what caliber) and is really satisfied with it also.

Go for it, I haven't shot one, but they feel good and I've heard great things about them.
