Small Game, Predator and TrappingFrom shooting squirrels in your backyard to calling coyotes in Arizona. This forum now contains trapping information..
This topic has been bounced around for the last several months, but it is now getting much closer to trapping season. Anybody got any updates on what the prices for midwestern fur will be like this year. I'm living in coon heaven, but am not going to bother if it is going to be 5 bucks for a XX again this year.

Not to encourage you if you don't want to hunt/trap them but depending on where you live and the other things you hunt, think how many duck/goose/pheasant/grouse/etc eggs a coon can/will eat. Getting rid of them is a great way to help out other parts of nature.
well said, 2yrs ago we noticed all of the fawns dissapearing from our hunting area. So i decided to dig out the traps. well I am proud to report that not only have we seen more fawns than ever, but the small game seems to be more abundant now to.Seems coyotes were the culprits caught 4 of themwithin the first 2wks of trapping them. Not to mention all the fox and racoon caught also. Brought back a lot of earlier memories, now I am hooked on the trapping again. Cant wait for the Pa season opener.
