no dogs = big problems.

It seems silly posting this but, my 2 georgia yard dogsgot killed a while back and now ive had the biggest problems with pest. We have had feral hogs show back up and I had to shoot a cat the other night because it attacked ours. and just this morning i woke up to seeing some of our ducks dead with the heads missing. Whatever it was didnt eat anything just killed them and the heads where gone. Since schools out today im gonna stay up and spotlight for it, and hopefully ill have some results tommorow morning. Wouldnt been so bad if the ducks didnt eat out of your hand and come when you clapped your hands. anybody know of any thing that just kills for the fun of it? I live in NE Georgia if that helps.

Were they torn up like teeth marks??

It was probability a Great Horned Owl,they like to eat the heads off of there prey.

I've heard that minks and weasels will suck the blood out and leave the meat. Look around the carcasses for tracks.

dude, check this out
i accidently let my cat out one night and the next morning she was acting real scared and so i got her out on the deck and just as i did a hawk comes right of my roof. scary. also we had a duck nest with eggs in it. and so the one day i go out to read a magazine and i see the duck flying through the trees about 70 yards away and a few seconds lateri see the hawk flying after it (it was the same one that came off my roof) and i guess it ate the duck becausewe haven't seen her since. and also i'll find a whole pile of dove feathers every couple months too.

I have heard of foxes and owls/hawks eating the heads of when the
birds are in pens. The young birds stick their heads out thru the wire
and get eaten. But most animals will take their catch with them to eat.
Perhaps this is a dog at work hear.
