Default small game - archery ?

My bow is set to about 65lbs . I shoot rabbits . Am I bringing a " cannon to a knife fight " . I shot my first 2 rabbits (with my bow) last wekend . Should i be shooting somthing smaller ?

At least .
I have a 40# recurve that I use just for small game , bunnies don't need a lot of punch to go down .

I agree. You don't want that arrow flying off after passing through the rabbit, even if it is a blunt tips or judo point.

I think if your going to hunt deer or other bigger game with that bow, it is great practice to hunt rabbits or other small game with it.

during the summer I shoot chipmunks with a 57# compound. got one through the shoulders at 15 yards through brush
