Default Man!!! There's a lot of yotes round here

Just went out ta try to thin them out today.
I didn't have no luck, though.
Course I don't know half of what I'm doing.
I never tryed to intentionally call one in.
I howled a few times, but, didn't get no answer.
Hows that suposed to work?
Is it a locator or does it bring'um in?
I sqealed withmouth diaphram but that did'nt do it either.
My brother done got over 30 of em since Thanksgiving.
Any ideas on improving my luck?
There here, just no luck.
Tracks everywhere

If your brother hunts them and has been having some success, go with him. Actually being on a coyote hunt with somebody that has done it before is a lot more helpful than just me telling you over the internet. Nothing makes up for experience, and if you have the chance to benefit from someone else's experience, you should take advantage of it.

Search this forum and you should see a lot of beginner posts and answers to most of your questions, and possibly answers to questions you didn't know you had.

You said you were howling? Hopefully with a call and not your own voice. Scent control, camo, experience, the right gear, location, and the right time of day will get you started. I agree with North about taking your brother with. Obviously, he has the steps down to fooling those yotes

I have it on good authority that it takes a lot of alcohol to get the howl sounding right. And it takes a lot more alcohol to get everyone else in the truck thinking the howling is sounding right, also.[8D]
