do you eat what you trap?

Last thing I trapped was skunks. I don't care to eat them, or even clean them for that matter.

If you can believe it, I once caught a pheasant in a trap. I was all over it like Wylie Coyote[X(]

The only thing I have eaten out of a trap was an 18 inch brown trout that I caught in a 110 conibear set for muskrats.

Used to give our carcasses from trapping to an old backwoods couple for eats. They invited us up a few times to try out the vittels they cooked up, including 'coon, possum, and muskrat. Tried them all, and can do without all of them. Did like the beaver tail, though! Great flavor and texture! Skunk was out of the question, even for their taste!
