Default Ruger 10/22

When i shoot squirrels and rabbits and dont wanna piss people off next to me i use the subsonic 22LR bullets, but when i fire the empty brass wont eject and load another round, the guns not old and well mantained, and works fine for high velocity rounds, any ideas why it keeps jamming with the subsonic

It might not be the age or condition of the rifle. In my experience most autoloaders can be pretty finicky when it comes to shooting anything other than a standard long rifle round. It might be best to manually load one bullet at a time. Or, you can likely locate an old single shot bolt action at a reasonable price.

I agree. Just like loading snake rounds, or stingers or othe specialty ammo.
