WOW, that coyote is a great looking mount. The face is so cool looking.
Is that a NY coyote? If so what county?

wow that's a nice mount. kinda looks like a coydog to me. even reminds me of a wolf. it's hard to tell from the angle of the picture though. how much did it weight it looks to be very heavy.

I shot it on December 18, 1998 at 7:20 AM in Victor, NY

he weighed 45 pounds and appeared to be the smaller of the two that came in. The first charged in and ran past me. This one held up at 180 yards andI blasted it!!

Too bad the back end went green, it would have been an awesome full mount

it looks like a mix of a sheepdog of some sort and a yote.

To me this looks like a wolf, definatly not a full blood coyote! Coyotes here in ND have a much more pointed muzzel, probably a cross of something. did it run with its tail down or up? usually a coyote will run with their tail down and a wolf will usually run with its tail out or up! mount looks great
