Default BHW and .22lr score NY red fox *pic*

Gang,
The weather was great so Foxer and I got together for some late nite calling. I was eager to hear his FX3 perform and it did not let us down.

At the first stand, a fox appeared but held up out of range (NY mandates that only shotguns and rimfires can be used during deer season). It was still fun to have one in the lights!

At the next stand, this prime fox investigated the call and I was able to take him at approximately 90 yards with a Ruger 77.22 (My squirrel rifle!!!)
At the next stand, Foxer howled up a lone coyote and I shot it but must have missed.

It was a great nite, nonetheless, and we shall do it again soon.
