Default Local Squirrell

I live in a suberb of Philadelphia and this is probably a stupid quesion, but would squirrel taste ok? I live next to a bank that is covered with brush and see squirells often. I dont think they would taste good though... any input?

They taste like chicken , seriously . It takes a few to make a good meal , but they are very fine eating . Almost any recipe for chicken will work for squirrel .

I said that because of their diet. Also i do not want the population to drop. But Since i live where i live, i dont know if they are feeding from the bank or the trash.
