Default Which Chair/Stool for Ground Blind Hunting?

I'm wondering what everyone here uses for a chair/stool out of their ground blinds? I've use the Double Bull stool before, and after about 20 minutes I can't stand it anymore. Is there something out there that offers a bigger guy a little more comfort?

I just purchased a ground blind this year and was in a similiar situation about a month ago. I looked at all the seats available on the popular sites and they all seemed to have a sagging bottom and/or no back rest. I have some back problems so something with some support was important. After a few purchases and returns, the best option I found was just a simple folding chair. I found a black one for $12 and it is the perfect height and I have sat in folding chairs for long periods of times before, so I think it will work great.

Yes just like he said, the v shaped ones are a joke! Get yourself a cheap folding one at wallyworld for 7-12 bucks. Get one with the back rest but no arm rest to get in your way!

click on the archers chair icon, not the swivel-the swivel is junk from what ive heard.

I got this before last season. Used it in the blind, and also on the ground for gun hunting. VERY comfortable, its is quite expensive, but I have found that it has been worth it. I have had those chairs or stools that are the most unpleasant thing to sit in after 30 minutes or so. Absolutely no problems here. I would highly recommend it.

Thanks guys for the links I will have to check 'em out closer tomorrow when I'm not beat. One of my hunting buddies finally closed on his new house so we were tearing out carpet and painting all afternoon/evening.

Just be sure it has three legs so it wont rock all over on uneven ground.

Boys you need to check out I Huntmore stool it is the most comfortable chair you will ever sit in and can hunt from this baby all day if needed. It has three legs all adjustable but neatest thing about it is it turns as you draw so you are in perfect form evry time you draw.. If you are serious about hunting out of ground blinds then this chair is for you.. It is the best of the best folds down great and comes with it's own carrying case. I will be diffently be hunting out of this chair this year.. Walt

Comfort is a huge issue.....ut THE main thing I look for in a ground chair is....proper height (if you're shooting out of a blind). I went through several before settling on the tripod with a back. I got mine from the NWTF site. It's the perfect height for ME.

*note...this was with the compound. I sit a little higher, now (trad bow) out of necessity.....but I've also decided to lose the man-made blinds (for next turkey season).

For deer hunting.....I'll be using the millenium 300 tree seat and finding (or constructing) my own cover. The seat is adjustable to any height and is SUPER comfy.

i have used the ameristep swivel for a couple years now - but it pretty much needs to be replaced every year. when sitting in it - it feels like a $20 chair. but it works for a morning/night sit - don't think i would want to do a full day.
