Has anyone ever red tagged in pennsylvania. I hunt in alot of redtag areas and my fiance wants to shoot a deer....No luck with a rifle. I was just wondering what the whole process is like?

RE: PA RED TAGS???
Not to be combative, but I was told that the PGC did away with the red tag system last year.
They do have a DMAP system where you can buy a tag and hunt in a State Forest or other place that is covered under the DMAP system.
But if the only season that is in - is the Muzzleloader rifle, then you would have had to already have a Muzzleloader license before hand to be eldigible for that program.
The rules say that the license is good for any hunting season as long as you have the proper license. and abide bythe rules of that season.

The statewide muzzleloader season closed Saturday the 12th. The only deer season still in is 2B 5C and 5D till Jan 26. It is a firearm season.
The only WMU that still has doe tags avavilable is 2B
