Default Virginia Hunting Lease

Howdy everyone,

I am looking for a fairly cheap hunting lease near or around Charlottesville, VA. I am a college student at Virginia Tech, but live in C'ville. I was hoping to find a group I could join to lease with some others, or simply be able to lease it myself. Please let me know what you guys have in mind.

Thanks

You might try to send a PM to eng40sqd or vasavage270 or capt brad, or sit back and wait... another VA poster will help out. I am already in a club west of the Blue Ridge and couldn't help you with a lease.

I think St. Regis Paper Company had some land in Virginia available for lease a couple of months ago. Try Google or Yellowpages.com and see if you can run an office down and try to find someone in their timberlands division that can help you.

My bro just grad. from VT last year, I have 2 cousins and a couple friends that go there. Capt Brad has a nice lease down in Madison, I'm sure he'll post up soon.

But some good places are to be had 30 mins north of Charlottesvill at Rapidan and they don't cost

Hey Brad how have things been since you visited us? We are going to have another shoot next weekend I believe..

As far as availability we do have a few openings at this time.. we are going to look at that land in Faquier (sp?)and in Essex next week so we might have a few more tracts soon!!

Eng40sqd,

Please let Brad or myself know if any leased land becomes available in the NO VA area. I would possibly be interested in the Facquier land in addition to my madison lease. I tried to send you a PM, but the sytem states your boxis full. Just an FYI.
