Default John Deere ATV's

I am curious if any of you have or have seen a John Deere ATV? I was flipping through a magazine the other day and noticed them. I never even knew that John Deere even made ATV's.I would like your thoughts on them for those that own or have riden one!

Thanks,

They were simply rebadged and different colored Bombardier quads.

Not real high in the ratings. Great tractor but not really a quad I would buy.

I read some reviews on them last year when I was looking. The concensus I got was that were only o.k., fairly toughand slow but only average or slightly below in most test categories. They weren't cheap either. I'd stick with the proven, reliable brands such as Yamaha, Honda, Kawi, Suzuki or, now, maybe the newer CanAm's. Heck, I'd get a Polaris Sportsman over a JD.

My boss has one at his place, and while they make a super tractor, I wouldn't buy their quad. Get a Honda-the best I've seen.

Jd, can am etc are the same thing made by the same company bombi. Just different paint and body styles. A few guys boughtem up here last year when the jd dealership had a big sale on them.NOT CHEAP? Cheapest bike u can get here. Could pick up a 500cc for 5-6 grand new last year. Real cheap bike and seems to stand up well. Not quite honda quality but a heck of alot cheaper, depends on what u want.

I have a John Deere tractor which is a excellent piece of equipment. The only downfall is when you need parts John Deere is basically your only option and they are very proud of them.I would definitely see if these are a specially built model for JD and if they are the only supplier of parts for them. I was looking for a new riding lawnmower a couple years ago.I passed the JD for that reason.

I have a 06 Honda TRX680FA.So far I'm really satisfied with it.Since I've moved I don't have a place to ride, so it's beenparked quite a bit. There again the Honda'scost more then others. Depends what you're looking for and willing to spend on a toy.Polaris is another story. I wouldn't own another one on a bet.
