Default Homemade Treestands?

Does anyone have Plans or know a website that has plans of a homemade treestand. I am making some this off-season. If they could preferably be the old style kind with a few 2x4's or maybe even some of the newer versions. I will look over anything right now! Thanks for the help!

The lock-on featured in your link could be fabricated on your budget , although I would substitute plywoodfor the planks on the platform and add a spacer pipe and all thread rodbetween the stringers to reinforce those pipe hangers for more continuous support. A metal gusset at the platform's attachment point to the riser would be nice also . The overall design looks sturdy enough to last a few years with proper maintainence .

That was my same idea Kevin... I was just hoping to have a few more for a few years just to be able to play the wind more than less...

That does not look like it would stay safe for long.

Even treated wood will get weak sitting in the weather.

I wouldn't trust it for more than one season.
Now if you were to make the frame from heavy,
Angle aluminum and ss bolts.
It would last much longer.
And aluminum for the floor.

This is my first ladder stand, I have no plans, just the picture.
Veed boards, a turn buckle and chain hold it to the tree.

I have a couple of pictures of my Electrical Conduit Ladders stand on my Hunting Page: http://webpages.charter.net/fam-strick/web/hunt.htm
They were really cheap to make till the price of tubing trippled. Many hours of welding!
