Actually I killed 5 all cows or ragheads, way back in the early 60s before elk became bullet proof. I used a wildcat 6.5-.257 which is so close to the 6.5x57 that you use the same load data. Hittin...

I know this is gonna come as a shock in some minds, but there ain't no such thing as a magic bullet. Them super premiums were designed to hold together at impact velocities higher than the muzzle...

I suppose it would be adequate for an experienced, deliberate hunter. Someone who knows that if you want to reduce a big bull to possession, you can't just nick a lung. One who knows you can't shred...
