Personally, I would go a little bigger and tougher "bulk" bullet for hunting Caribou. The 300 or 350 gr. XTP Mag would be a better choice. I plan on using my 250s on deer-only.

These 250s are 45-cal .452 and judging by looks, may need my Harvester crush rib sabots. My 230 gr. Gold Dots in 45-cal are .451s and load with little resistance using MMP's...
