I have shot approximatly a dozen deer with the 250 gr shockwaves and they have all died within 1 to a 100 yds. Shot location is the simple answer, if the bullet is not in the vitals it doesnt matter...

I have killed 7 deer with 250gr shockwaves backed up by 100gr of powder and all I can say is WOW, every deer I have shot has been dead within 35 yds and left a good blood trail. I will never use...

Stick to the smokepole in my opinion, you will be able to reach out farther. Everyone I have talked to has been seeing alot of big bucks this year, I am ready to hunt.

Acorns are very scarce in southern Indiana from what I have seen , I think it has something to do with that monsoon we had this spring. Maybe the hard rain washed all the pollen off, IMO.
