I think I've only ever blind called in a deer a few times and its usually a little curious spike, but I did call in a decent buck once with a can call. Rattlin and gruntin has never got me anywhere...

I've heard more about EHD than bluetongue this...

I've heard more about EHD than bluetongue this year... and finding them in or near water is one of the tell-tale signs of EHD (maybe of bluetongue too?). Either way- that sucks!

Interesting... I think the issue is that the muscle tone tells one story and the rack and neck girth tell another. Hard to say... almost certainly 3.5 years or older though.

I just put my cameras out... checking them tomorrow. There's no real hope to hold on to, but I still "hope" that I don't see deer covered in ticks. Hate those little buggars.

I think that with elephant ivory there is a way to get it certified as being "pre-ban ivory." Not sure what all goes into it but that may send you down the right path.
