I had a Tikka T3 lite chambered in the 300 WSM and was not impressed with the recoil on this light rifle but it sure had a smooth action.

Personally , I don’t think you kneed to buy anything. All you have to do is, place the rifle on a cradle or stabilize it on sandbags so it doesn’t move. Remove the breach plug and keep the action...

As skeeter mentioned, be careful on the eye relief. That would be my first concern when shooting the 338 WM. Shooting off the bench in ideal conditions may not be a problem but in hunting situations...

You can actually enter info such as muzzle velocity , bullet weight , altitude and so on to the Zeiss web site and it will calculate which reticle between 600 & 800 would work best for your rifle...
