I also have a Nikon 2-7 Prostaff Shotgun scope. For the price it's a great value. Shotgun scopes typically have a fixed parallex setting at 75 yards vs a standard centerfire scope set at 100 yards.

Basically the same gun but the SBE shoots 3 1/2" shells and the M2 shoots 3" shells. Sounds like a good price for the SBE if the 3 1/2" is what you like to use.

I have the M2 in black synthetic...

I took my first trophy deer that I shot to a local taxadermist in November of 2007. I still have not got it back yet. He claims that he has not received the hides back from the tannery in California....
