.22-250 my son is 6 and he uses this caliber it is deadly. Teach them patience and make them wait for the right shot and you will have no problems. I forgot to mention have them practice with the gun...

School is out the whole first week Thanksgiving week. At work we usually have about 85-100 people off for vaction (thats all they will approve) and another 100 or so call in sick the first two days....

I think the crows will be first followed by coons. Had mine out a month ago over some carcasses and the crows were there all the time. The coons were hard on them as well.

They are fun to shoot and thats about it. The scopes for them are clumpsy due to the mounts. Just buy one and shoot them open sights for fun. They will kill a deer with in there limits quit nicely...
