Default difference in these scopes?

What is the difference in the Leupold VX-II and the Leupold VX-2? I have the VX-II and was seeing the both listed on Leupold's website. I don't really see the difference between the two.

From what I've found on the Internet, the VX 2 are the newer scopes that are a cross between VX II and VX 3 scopes, for the price of the old VX II scopes. From what I've read, the VX 2 scopes have better windage and elevation controls.

I have both and this is accurate. The VX2 is a better glass, better adjustments.

if you can find the VX-II at a great price then get it, prices are dropping cause stores and Leupold want to clear them out. I got one 3-9x40 a few months ago for $219 few shipping. I don't know how much better the VX-2 is over the VX-II, but I have been using the VX-II for many, many years without any problems
