Most folks just go to higher rings, but then the gun usually fits like crap and doesn't help with good shooting.
If you go to higher rings, you might want to also add a cheekpad for proper cheekweld.
You can buy cheekpads or make them yourself, I use Kydex and form them over a setup stock. Cheap, fast, easy and looks good with synth stocks. I usually attach with 2 Chicago screws, makes for clean look on off side. Thick enough, there's only a slight bit of flex due to cheek side not anchored. A bit of foam underneath and it's plenty sturdy. Heck I forget what thickness I use, been a while since I bought it. Get it from "Knifekits.com".
Sometimes the hammer barely clears but adding an extension to operate it causes interference with the scope. You can grind quite a bit off the top of the extension and make it work.
Bushnell Banner series scopes are decent for the $, but their rear eyebells are HUGE and often interfere. A more streamlined scope like a Nikon or Leupold might get you some clearance.
